Some of you might have noticed it, but we just got a new sim to host SL-Messenger (amongst other things). It’s called Messenger and is the new landing point for those willing to get their SL-Messenger watch ;). Also come and try your best at out Alice in Wonderland’s maze contest (you’ll get it when you arrive :p), Kri is leading the race until now !
Still a lot to do to finish up the sim (a bunch of posters, some furnitures)… if you wanna help don’t hesitate !

As of today a forum has been set up to let you share your thoughts and issues and help define what the next steps will be !

Sorry about that but we’re a bit behind schedule (happens some time … ). Anyway most of the work is done and we’re going into polishing the whole service right now. I can now announce that SLM will bring Cross IM right into Second Life, and allo µblogging based on both Jaiku and Twitter services. That way you’ll be able to share your discoveries in SL and note places for further reference in seconds! Check the screenshot below to see how easy this is going to be ! Also included some cool social services and more to come after the release !
Release this week for sure, the dev team is under pressure !

V2 will bring new widgets of two kinds :

Firstly an “ID” widget aimed at your blog or FaceBook profile page, a quick overview of that widget (with a couple of fields missing is right here:




Secondly a Netvibes/iGoogle/Yahoo Widget that will incorporate to you personal home page and will provide you with an instant view about your friend’s status and location in SL.

If you tried to register over the last few days you may have had trouble in locatin our home sim Niobe. And indeed… the land owner of the sim I’m renting 1/4 of changed 2 weeks ago and the new one decides to change the sim name from Niobe to Angelfire. What’s unforgivable is that he didn’t care about telling me he was changing it and I only figured this out a couple of hours earlier.

Well anyway, you can now go on Angelfire, 62,214,22 to retrieve your SL-Messenger watch and start the registration process.

I’m now looking to buy a whole sim if you ever hear about a good deal let me know
